No not Smokey McSmokerson. I'm referring to the young autistic man who lives in the next building over. He spends a lot of time outside repeating the same things over and over again. In the summer he will be out there at 6am singing opera at the top of his lungs. He asked me about making him some ice cream the other day. I told him I'd get the insert into the freezer that afternoon. The next day he was like "where is my ice cream?" I get that he has a disability but damn bro it isn't that easy. After making the base it still has to chill overnight before I can churn it. He is a sweetie but he also has a very one-track mind. He won't get it until at least tomorrow. He wants cookie dough ice cream. Another neighbor wants Devil's Food chocolate. I was thinking of making cherry ice cream to remember my dad but dayum those things are expensive these days! I don't think so.
