Relaxing Friday / myLot

Happy Friday! a beautiful sunny day here in my little corner of the myLot world. Today is my middle daughters birthday and I just got off the phone with her. We chatted for awhile and I remember the day she was born. Seems like yesterday. I don't have much going on today. My youngest daughter left early this morning for her friends moms funeral. She had a 2 hour drive to get to the church and will be gone most of the day. So sad but this poor lady was sick for awhile. Since I have the day to myself I figure it's time to indulge in a relaxing day. Since the weather is really nice I think I'm going to take my book outside and read for awhile. I can get lost in a good story and the pup can sit in the sun and warm up her old bones. I don't have to cook so there's no pressure in the old "what to make for dinner" I almost feel as if I'm on vacation

It was a great day overall. Since days like this are few and far between it was almost like being on vacation

I often crave a bit of alone time, but right now it's not very easy to get. Sometimes, when he's asleep...but he is alive and slowly getting better, I am counting my blessings. Glad you have some time to read outside and not have to cook. Enjoy your mini-vacation!

I am glad to hear you and Mush got to spend some time together. I took Sadie to get groomed, and she is prancing around, showing everyone how pretty she is.
