I haven't posted in a long time, as my health was going in the wrong direction. I was in the hospital and learned what needed to change in my life. Stress has been challenging after the passing of my husband in 2025 with all the things that need to be completed when somebody passes away. It finally caused me to pass out and was rushed to the hospital where many tests were done and found out my blood pressure is to high and weight which I did know was eating from stress. I am now eating better more protein and vegetables. No more eating to many chips while watching television and work out at least 10 minutes every day. Any suggestions are welcome, as I am working harder to lose weight. I go to bed earlier no more late night television. Hope all of you are well.

Glad you are changing your habits. You have to exercise often and get enough sleep to reduce your blood pressure.

It sounds like you are really trying now to get better. I’m glad they caught your high blood pressure since it is called the silent killer. I’m also glad you’ve laid off the chips. I know I feel better when I stay away from junk food. Make sure you up the water intake as well. And check in with us, if you can. We’d love to offer an ear to listen if you feel like you are struggling.

I'm sure this has been a really tough time for you but it's nice to see you back here again. Maybe try slightly smaller serves on a smaller-size plate. I have soup or a simple salad for lunch. I'm lucky in that I rarely feel hungry but it can still be hard to keep the weight off. Cutting right down on your eating doesn't seem to help a lot unless you exercise as well. Good luck with it all.
