Meet Missy

We have had two days of really forceful, gusty wind and rain. The roads are littered with bits of branches, gumnuts, etc. We were out yesterday but got home before the worse of the wind. A lot of people were out braving the elements and taking their dogs for walks. We had a phone call from an elderly neighbour who lives about eight doors up from us. He was in a park nearby with his little dog and thought he might call in to say hello. He and Missy arrived and I found an old blanket for Missy to lie on while Lionel, Vince and I entertained each other. Lionel’s wife was at home on the phone to her sister in England. They speak to each other for several hours each Sunday. I couldn’t get a really good photo of Missy so here’s a collage of four not-so-great ones. I think she is a funny-looking dog. She’s supposed to be a poodle. Do you think she looks like a poodle? Funny-looking or not, she is very cute. She stood at the door and gave a short yap so I let her out. She did a quick wee then came back in, looking relieved.
