As this is the only boy left his name is Trip. A few people have suggested that for a boy. So he is showing off here to say hi. Just one kitten left to name.
I got a bunch done again. First was to get my trellis back up and the new rose growth threaded through it. Then I transplanted some garlic that was where I wanted sunflowers. I also planted sunflower seeds in a different area. Hopefully they all grow.
Had to spray for bugs on a few plants. It's going to be one of those years I think. I seldom have to do that. But if I get rid of them early that will be nice.
Figured out a different spot for a permanent duck run. I have started cleaning that area up to get ready.
Now I just need a bath and put the chickens up. Hope you had a good day.

Oh what a sweetheart! And yes, I say that about all the kittens and puppies I see, until they prove me wrong.
I had no trouble getting to Chuy’s today in the first day of I-65-ageddon, but it was backed up on the home route…so I went a different way!

@wolfgirl569 — still? The last time I was up there (I think in 2016 to see Peter Case at Natalie’s) it was awful. Then again, they may be just like Nashville: never actually doing any construction, just moving the barrels into different lanes every year.

He is orange so will be a terror like his half brother Fuzzy cat
Glad you could make it there. I am glad we don't have to go anywhere near Columbus as they have some closures starting soon

You sure find a lot to do with that 2 acres.

@wolfgirl569 - At least garlic is good to keep bugs away. I remember that one year the cat of one of the neighbors dug up all the garlic heads. Silly cat!

My garlic doesn't usually get big. Our ground is too solid. But I keep it planted near the rose bushes to help keep bugs away.

Sounds like you got a really productive stretch in today too: trellis work, transplanting garlic, planting sunflowers, and even planning ahead for a duck run.
