It is encouraging

I find it encouraging to have found someone who wants to work. I talked with Daniel after he mowed yesterday about some other things that need to be done here.
Today he cleared lots of baby trees that were in the wrong places. He took five loads of brush to the burn pile, plus made himself some good fire wood to take home.
I sent things home with him that I had no use for. He tells me his wife is excited about the chairs.
Today he brought two of his teen aged kids with him. He said they both worked hard and did not complain a bit.
Yes, it costs money to have other people do things, but to me it is worth it. First time in about four years I have not had to worry about the yard.
He likes to keep busy. I think I have a few more jobs for him.

I am very glad you had him come and help you. What a relief to have all of that done. And it's great that he hauled off what you didn't want anymore. He sounds like a great guy.

It leaves me some time to do things that are a little more fun.

It feels so nice to know that there are still people who wants to help, we used to have a neighbor who offers to help us in our laundry, we paid for her services shes very diligent , she even volunteer to clean our house every saturday. But our then suddenly she told my mom that she will no longer do the laundry and clean our house since they will be moving to the city. Her husband got a work there and she will start looking for work there too.

Moving can really change plans and make you have to find more help.

Part of it is he is not tech savvy and they are not into tech. Being outside and being busy is something for them to do. They only live with him in the summer.

As the money comes in we have already talked about some other jobs he will do. There is an awful lot to get done in the yard.

Sure does. So often people say they want to work but they never get there to do it.

Glad you have found someone you can trust Heather.
And someone who works hard and appreciates that he needs to work.
It might cost money paying for things to get done, but it's worth it.
I have had to admit defeat doing certain jobs now and have to pay someone to do the jobs, but it is worth it.
I have found lots of jobs for the guy I use.
It's good company for me as well

In some ways I feel like he has adopted me as an ongoing project. My friend Zogie is going to start using him too to get some stuff done.

@GardenGerty
An ongoing project?
As long as his intentions are good all should be ok.
If a few of you and your friends use him you all could help him and his family out a lot.
And obviously it will benefit you as well
