Not happy with Walmart

I ordered toilet paper and coffee from Walmart. I thought they’d come together but no. Toilet paper is delivery while coffee is delivery from store. The toilet paper already came. Instead of putting it by the door they put it by the garage door but close to the neighbors instead of my porch. The coffee hasn’t arrived yet. I am not home and probably won’t be there till sometime in the evening. I hope no one takes my toilet paper. The coffee hasn’t been delivered yet. Hopefully it won’t come till evening time.

My neighbors and I watch out for each other's packages--if someone is not going to be home, they text or notify a neighbor who is home to please grab the package. I realize you are moving and that may not be practical. I am just glad to have the option of a neighbor helping out, and in turn I do the same--but I don't get many deliveries. It's just reassuring to know we can help each other out.

I generally do not like to order stuff online. I prefer to go to the store but there is no Walmart where I live unfortunately.

@MarieCoyle True. What I ordered from Walmart was the cheapest compared to my stores here. It’s a bummer that there is no Walmart here.

I know that NYC has no Walmart stores there. But at least you do have a lot of choices in stores you shop in.

It was interesting because the email said that the package would be left by the house door. Instead they put the toilet paper by the garage door and then when the coffee came, it was placed on top of the toilet paper instead of by the house door. Thankfully, both the toilet paper and the coffee were still there when I got home after 11 pm.

I was just watching some videos about porch pirates. I will do a post on the stats soon.Amazing.
I hope the toilet paper is okay. Walmart is big on selling large amounts and having them shipped to you.

@lovebuglena that could be the reason the items were delivered at different times. I had the same experience when I ordered for two different items online. They arrived on different days

I don't order coffee but always get toilet paper and it always comes with my groceries, There are some items Walmart says they'll send separate but then I always cancel those,

That's the trouble when people deliver stuff. You always have to think about when it will be delivered.
