Except some idiot setting off what sounds like boomer fireworks earlier. It's way too early for that.
I hauled quite a bit of the brush pile today. I am now down to some bigger stuff to move. That is easy to get at least. I also pulled some weeds. I will water some stuff later. The sun is drying things out fast.

Friday night we kept hearing locals set off fireworks. It’s so annoying and I hate the month before July 4th.
I put my two Lantanas in bigger pots. They do so well in the summertime in that spot, and the hummingbirds love them. It’s been thundering for several hours, we had rain last night which we really needed. Some places all around us were flooded, but we didn’t get that much.

Last year we started hearing fireworks on Memorial Day weekend! Just crazy.

You need to come over and weed the front flowerbed for me when you get time. I haven't been able to get that done this year.

The neighbors usually start around the middle of June and continue until they run out (usually in mid-July…as many fireworks as they have I’m surprised anyone else on earth has any!

Maybe the fireworks were an error.
Question about watering
Do you wait till the sun has gone before you water stuff?
I do
But a bloke here was watering stuff when the sun was at its hottest and I wondered if that was wise lol

Nope this was the second time.
I water in the evenings. But some things need it more often. I try not to spray the leaves when I have to water during the day

@Ineeddentures Yes they can. And the sun can harden the dirt if it dries it fast too. But some plants need water twice a day or more
