A day of strange weather here.

What a weird day it was. We started out hot and foggy and very humid. Had off and on storms all day long--some dumped rain, some were mostly wind and a bit of rain, and one was what I call a gullywasher. It has thundered off and on so much in the last few days I have discovered that I am tuning it out--my son said the same thing, that the thunder seems constant.
We are currently only under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, in the scheme of things, that's mild for now. Tomorrow could be a whole new mess to deal with, at least in late afternoon/evening, etc. Time will tell. Son has two appointments that I hope we can get to without issues.

@MarieCoyle - Your weather is worse than ours. Right now I see the sun getting out from the clouds. I need to go to the pharmacy, my husband complains that he is in pain, I am sure it's because of the weather.

We've just had several hours of being surrounded by tornadoes and high winds and lashing rains...it's moving past us at last. Lots of trees down, etc. pretty much everywhere from winds. We did start out with some hail, but it soon turned to rain. And it's so warm and humid, ugh.

Oh, dear. I hope his pain is helped from rest and medicine. Bad weather surely doesn't help, either.

It’s hard to believe, but Illinois has had more tornado warnings this year than Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma combined.

Trouble is, you can't give 'em away...no one wants tornadoes! Like I said, weird weather, for sure!!

Update. we are simply surrounded right now by pop-up tornadoes, it's crazy. The weather guys are at their wits end trying to keep up! I was getting ready to try to sleep..not going to happen right now!

A lot of wind the last two days. Thunder and lightning and huge clouds but no rain for a day or two. I guess it is weird, but maybe it is just Kansas.

Not really, at least not for Oklahoma. Wait, we are in a way, yes. Normally, by now we’ve had more tornadoes. The news was even talking about it. We have had some; the one in Enid took out an entire neighborhood. So I guess it has been crazy. Fewer tornadoes, and record heat.

We have had so many tornadoes in Illinois this year, it's hard to keep track. Insanity! But the record heat for you is not good at all, ugh.

I do my share of worrying when we get tornadoes. I am fine with regular heavy showers, and cooler weather would be more than welcome right now!

It has been unrelentingly hot, tomorrow hot with storms..They say there is a strong likelihood of damaging winds. Hope you got to your appointments OK today.

It's pretty much a normal winter for us here at the moment. Ii do hope you're able to get to those appointments. I think I'd be tearing my hair out having to cope with the issues you have but of course that wouldn't help at all.
