I haven't had many since I've been back to work. One interesting change is the rate we are paid for duty coverages.
For class coverages we are paid $45.53 for 40 minutes. Teachers usually leave assignments for the students so the teacher covering the class just has to take attendance, approve bathroom passes, and make sure they don't kill each other.
Duty coverages (hall, study hall, cafeteria) were paid at $22.10 for the same amount of time. The union fought that in the last contract negotiation and it was agreed that going forward they would be paid at the same rate as class coverages--$45.53. For whatever reason that wasn't on my (or most people's) radar this year and we were still paid the $22 per duty coverage.
While I was away apparently the union started fighting that and finally administration agreed to compensate duty coverages at the same rate as class ones. Honestly it only makes sense since you are giving up the same amount of time. Frankly hall and cafeteria duty can be more difficult than covering a class.
So today I covered one of the cafeterias on my lunch. BOOM. $45. I'll take it!

Sounds like doing it was well worthwhile.

I'm glad you have that option at times to earn some extra. And it should have been the same amount all along, you're right.
Gotta love the ''make sure they don't kill each other.''
