I foolishly did it again.

I forgot my phone again when I left my dad’s house. So silly. This will be the last time it happens, at least for a long time. 
I saw my charger in my purse, which had been attached to my phone, so I assumed the phone was in there too. I first found my old Kindle at home, and went through each cord that looked like it might charge it, but back in 2024, well let’s just say someone “hid” it unintentionally. I was fine just using my phone so I never spent money on getting another charger for it. I may have to rectify that. Because, if my Kindle was usable, I could at least get online, and even contact 911 in an emergency. Without either, I have nothing. Darn internet addiction. So I had to go back.

Even though it was very inconvenient for you, at least you knew where it was. Maybe we should get you some Velcro and put a band of it on your wrist and one on the phone, haha!

I very rarely lose anything. My stuff has a place in our house and I want it in its place. If it's not where it belongs, I start asking Pretty what she did with it until she puts it back where it belongs.

That’s a good attitude to have. My best friend has had things go missing, and her roommate denies she took it. They had to move, and when my friend helped her go through her stuff, she found about fifteen things that had previously gone “missing”.

@AmbiePam Pretty tried to say she didn't move anything at first. I went to her room and there was my wallet. Then she said, "Oh, yeah, I forgot I paid bills." Now she just finds whatever and brings it back.

@AmbiePam I have a question at home how do you access the Internet? And you also have Internet on your phone? Why? Why not use the phone just for calling if needed and do Internet at home?

@RasmaSandra I get unlimited Internet/data on my phone and unlimited texting, and everything under the sun for just $25 a month. On my phone. But I have like a $5 internet from my cable company, and for emergencies it seemed a good idea to keep it. My phone has lost connection probably three times for a total of maybe 45 minutes, but it’s really just in case. I should probably cancel it totally, and save the five bucks.

@AmbiePam I have to have three or four eggs for Monday. I am making hubby's carrot cake for his birthday that morning. I need a couple of boiled eggs for the potato salad that I will make tomorrow. Yup. I best check how many eggs are in the fridge!

Did you know that you can use a landline phone to dial 911 as long as it's plugged in, even if there's no dial tone? Just like a cell phone (or Kindle), you can make an emergency call even if you don't have service. I wish I had known that years ago, as we kept our landline well after getting cell phones just for being able to call 911 in case there wasn't cell service.
