...so yesterday, I witnessed an incident that really bothered me..and yeah..it shocked me to my bone marrow..I was getting cooking gas, and a couple runs the store...
so the husband was attending to me when the wife abruptly pushed him aside, saying " you are too slow for my liking!"..shocking right? I was shocked too
The embarrassment on his face was hard to eat and he just walked away. I felt really sorry for him.
The truth is mutual respect is non-negotiable in any relationship. Public disrespect is just not okay. What are your thoughts on this?"

That's really awful how the wife treated the husband. I feel sorry for the poor guy that he had to be embarrassed that way.

I would feel bad seeing people treated like that.
I once joined unexpectedly on a trip with my cousins friend. So we ate in a restaurant and a crew have missed one order to served because it was not in the order lists. I can't blame him for missing that because everyone was loud. Also he reread the order and everyone gave him the heads up that's it's all correct. But one guy in the group scolded him for missing an order and the restaurant was pack at that time and even if I told my cousin friend that we also have faults, he didn't listened.
So before I leave the restaurant, I looked for the crew and properly apologized on his behalf.
I hate the most when people treated a crew badly in the restaurant.

Wow! Fifty years ago, he would have hit her for saying/doing that and nobody would bat an eye or think he was in the wrong.
I agree, there was no reason to treat him like that.

It is not nice to put down your best friend in public.
