Surgery Day For Our Little Pup Mush

Happy Wednesday Everyone! a bright and sunny day here this morning. Possible thunderstorms this afternoon but overall it looks like a good day. Our day started off with an early morning dropoff for our pup Mush who needed surgery. The stress alone for us is terrible but the poor little thing had no idea what was going on and was shaking so bad when she was dropped off. The only thing we could think was that she was probably thinking she was being abandoned. The surgery would be pretty routine for a young dog but considering Mush is 16 yrs old it's risky. But, the good news is the vet just called and said she did well and was in recovery. She'll be able to come home later this afternoon. A big sigh of relief as all of us pet lovers can understand. It's crazy how a small furry little creature can creep into our hearts. So, with that good news I'm enjoying my coffee and exhaling the breath I knew I was holding. That's my day so far
