I didn’t post yesterday although I did manage to read some of your discussions and answer a few notifications.
The photo shows Vince’s mint rolls spread out on the kitchen bench. The rolls are from the Royal Australian Mint and have been collected over a long period of time. He stopped collecting some years ago and now it’s time to try to recoup some of the money that has been spend on them. But first we need to catalogue exactly what we have.
Vince is working an on Excel spreadsheet that is supposed to be compatible with his Apple MacAir but it’s giving him a few headaches. We’ll get there in the end, I’m sure.

Wow, that’s a lot of coins. I have a small (about 60) collection of “wheat pennies,” the penny that was made prior to 1959 that had stalks of wheat on the “tails” side and said “one cent.” It was replaced in 1959 with the Lincoln Memorial.
Good luck with the Excel spreadsheet and with getting the coins sold!

I have some mint rolls as well as some special Mint releases that are supposed to be worth more than I paid for them. (The US Mint sends me postcards that tell me when I need to increase the value of the insurance we carry for items like that. I bought two of the US State Quarter Collections years ago and some of them are worth $1,900 per coin. I also bought several of the Gold Edition State Quarters Sets, too.) Pretty keeps saying she's going to get rid of my filing cabinet since it just "takes up room" in the corner of the kitchen. I tell her she can throw out my stuff when I pass away and not before. That makes her mad and she starts yelling at me.
That's where I keep all the old coins and most of the collections I've bought over my lifetime.
I still need to go through everything and write notes about what is there and how much she could sell it for to collectors in our area and around the continental US.

Vince can take help from Perplexity or Chatgpt for Excel compatible with Apple MacAir.
Or it could be Open Document Format.
Mint roll collection is an interesting one.
Would you go for some sort of an Auction?
