6/18/26 - Meals

I had spinach ravioli with generic Ragu on it. It was good.

The usual for lunch, grilled cheese for dinner. Fake sorbet (mango/strawberry/banana), yogurt, fiber, applesauce!!

Supper last night was a gathering of stuff that shouldn't just sit in the fridge. Tofu, a bit of freezer potato bits, mixed vegies. Home garden peas/pods. Strawberry ice cream. We ate a few home raspberries earlier.

I had chicken salad, tacos, popsicles, and a pear.

I bet you were thrilled to eat SIL's food. I had a barbecue chicken sandwich for dinner with chips and coleslaw.

Lunch yesterday was on the fly while I drove from 1 appointment to another. It consisted of a couple of slices of marble cheese and a couple of thin slices of salami. For supper we ordered a large panzerotti and we each take a piece from it, and there is always a piece leftover for him for a meal on the weekend.

Supposedly, Meals on Wheels is now supposedly operating in my city but when I tried contacting them about getting meal deliveries, I was told there weren't any local distributions, even after the new state governor supposedly took 5 million dollars from the Senior fund here to pay for it. That's the same thing I was told two years ago under the last state governor. Republicans handling money responsibly again. I don't remember what I ate yesterday for breakfast. I ate a slice of lasagna yesterday for lunch. No supper.

If you can get a little money for some of the stuff, I'm all for it. For dinner we had hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill with coleslaw at the campground. Good eats!
