A gunman was " was shot in the melee". Can anyone tell me what part of the body can the melee be found? Maybe it's too early in the morning to be reading poorly written news reports.

A melee is a hand to hand fight or some type of struggle with several people involved. What news article are you referring to?

@BarBaraPrz How did teenagers and you adults find out about apps that hire gunmen for this scheme? I hope the young people they've arrested so far are being helpful in breaking the ringleaders and stopping the spread of the terrorists.

Hope they can fix his melee. That must’ve hurt! I love it when they don’t grammar check their stories. I saw one headline that said, “Man shot and killed…condition of the victim is unknown.”

The gunman was shot during the chaotic fight or confrontation. It does not mean the gunman was shot in a particular part of the body. The body part isn't specified.

DE is correct the melee is hand-to-hand fighting among several people. May be he was shot during a fight among several people.
