Last Saturday, we celebrated hubby's birthday in a buffet restaurant. The whole family was there (in-laws, SIL, nephew), a total of about 15 people. I asked the staff if there was a possibility of getting a complimentary Father's Day cake since we would not be there on Sunday.
The head chef agreed and told me to keep quiet about it so other customers wouldn't know. 
So, they prepared 5 Father's Day cakes and one birthday cake for hubby.
What a nice customer service!

I’ve had a lot of cakes in my time, and not one of them has ever been complementary towards me.
Same with gingerbread men. Probably because I bite their heads off before they’ve had a chance to speak

Very nice! I'm glad you all had a great time! Although, you could have invited Pretty and I, too. We wouldn't have told anybody.
