Did You Know That They Hardly Make Address Books Anymore?

United States

I have an executive planner book from when I used to work in an office. It has A-Z address book tabs for keeping track of people's names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. It's seen better days, so I went online to Office Depot/Office Max and they don't make refills. So I browsed regular old address books. They had a pitifully small inadequate selection of them. I guess nobody keeps address books anymore and stores all contact data in their phones or elsewhere digitally.

I used to use digital address books but can store more information on my phone now. *shrug* You can get an app from the app store or from the iStore that is the same thing so you can keep your private names and numbers separate from your business contacts.

Yes, it’s like wall calendars. They do still have them on Amazon.

That is a bit surprising. My address book is old but I won't be getting rid of it.

Yep. Stuff like this for us old school folks are becoming scarce. It is what it is, I guess.

Maybe try Amazon? I know most people have gone digital these days. I still have my old fashioned address book.

I guess address books became another victim of the smartphone era! I wonder how many people still have old address books tucked away in a drawer somewhere.

I've still got my filofax with plenty of blank address pages. Haven't looked into getting any replacements, but I am sure you are right as I've got all the addresses copied onto my phone
