Do You Do Your Own Painting?

I think so. I helped paint the inside of our house as a teen. Although, to be fair, someone else taped off the corners. That way I knew nothing would bleed over.

I'm not a good painter but I could paint well. I paint our house wall once in a blue moon. But when I was class room in elementary school, I painted my classroom a month before the opening of a school year.

I do not know if I am good, but I am the best I have. Have not painted in a long while. We need some paneling.

I used to some painting outside of my former home in Metairie a long time ago.

I learned to paint walls, etc. at a young age. I've always painted. However, I no longer have any desire to be on a ladder due to my leg. That means I could paint the parts I could reach, but not all of the wall. The last time I needed some walls painted, my oldest son came and did it for me. He is an expert painter, never leaves a mess, and there isn't a bill involved! It does require cookies, and a pie or two to take home. I can manage that.

I used to be and we always did our own painting and much of the house maintenance but it's all beyond us now.

I thought you meant painting as in painting as an artist. My husband is an artist. The last time I have paint our walls in the house was a few years ago. I did it with my hubby.

I abhor painting. That's not to say I never did my fair share of it. We were landlords in a former life. It came with the territory. And wifey liked "change." Nowadays I say, "the color is the color. If you want something different, it's up to you." lol
