Which boot for which foot?

Recently I bought a pair of short boots. They have zips up the side and I had to have a good look before working out which was the right and which was the left. There didn’t seem to be a lot of difference.
I was reminded of the time I wore my long boots to a music festival. They were usually very comfortable but this particular time, whenever I crossed my legs, the zip cut into the opposite knee which had never happened before. Would you believe, I eventually worked out that I had them on the wrong feet and hadn’t even noticed.
The photo is of my new boots.

I've never done it since. I think I was a bit stressed at the time and in a hurry.

Oh boy..I guess they should have made it clearer...which boot went on which foot!

I had my mind on other things I guess. I've never done it since.

Whose feet were they on? lol! I hate a boot or shoe that just has one pointy bit in the middle - that's so unhealthy for the feet. I had a pair of LL Bean cowboy boots in college that I loved so much, I literally wore down the heels!

I felt really silly. My friend thought it was funny but her mother looked at me very strangely! lol

I had some very similar, except brown. Turns out I am not much of a boot person, so I sent them to my daughter/grand daughter. Yes, you do have to look to decide where the zipper goes.

Haha I thought about the song ' These boots are made for walking' but not in your case! I should not laugh ~I went to work one day wearing a brown & black shoe. I noticed at 1pm 2 hours before the end of my shift. I did get dressed in the dark though so as not to dusturb my wife who was still asleep!

I worked with a lady who gave talks on looking after people with dementia and she came to one lecture with odd-coloured shoes.

I have had that problem on rare occasions putting on my sneakers on the wrong foot before going to visit a doctor or go shopping.

Oh, I love that! It's nearly worth putting them on the wrong feet, sorry, left shoe on right foot, right shoe on left foot, then being able to use that line.

I never heard of shoes you couldn't tell
what foot they go on, you can tell by the
way they feel after you put them on or
the toes will look funny if that helps any.

I was probably in a great hurry when I put them on. I've never made the mistake since.
