Worried as well. I mean, i can lie about it but i am worried, a lot. Why, you may ask?
Well, afraid of high temperatures that i would be exposed to. I handle them okay, i think. I go out only early in the morning and do what i need to though, last night was so humid, i really hated it but i fell asleep somehow.
Today, i picked out the closer store to shop and ac was on there but my tomorrow's appointment is at 5 p.m. when the heat is at its high. Also, i will have to leave my place around 4 p.m. and wait for the bus at the temperature of 36C. I am worried since last week but the appointment was made 3 weeks ago and what could have i done, considering my dentist will soon leave on his longer vacation and him and his team are not easily reached and their schedule is strangely always full.
I thought the highest temperature will be 30 something tomorrow but 36C or 96,8 F is serious yet, i don't have a choice but to go. My tooth needs a new crown and i can only hope and believe that bus will come on time and it will come in general, that it will have ac and which will be working. Then, at the dentist's office, i hope there would be ac too, that i would survive 1-hour of drilling and scanning my tooth. Ah, here are so many factors involved and i feel weak these days or, should i say, restricted.
This climate change and all these extremes are done by us, humans just, i really hope i will make it out tomorrow. Also my bus stop is at a wild parking lot and not sure where would i hide from the sun. Fingers crossed

MyLotters, i hope you and your health is okay.
P.s. I survived!

I really hope that your bus comes on time and that you make it to the dentist appointment and it all goes well. I can understand your stress about not only the dentist itself but the heat. Fingers crossed they have a/c.

the bus came but it changed the route due to some road construction and i had to walk 2 bus stops, under the sun. i didn't like that but i came on time. also, i felt my dentist was having fun while his assistant did the most of the work. at one mionute, i said can he did it to be faster but he stepped in just a bit, did my scanning of the crown and said he works as fast as this assistant. i mean, if he started the work, he should finish it, in my opinion but dentist and doctors here are so high of themselves and i feel if i say something more, he would get mad. i know this assistant has to learn but, i don't like him switching with her and that's why, after i put my crown, i would distance myself a bit. also, not sure is he that self-centered or she thinks she does a good work but at the end, she asked me to hold her that mirror object while she took a photo of my tooth to see what the tooth crown's colour would be. i mean, i said okay and she thanked me twice but why didn't she ask him to hold her that object; he came, saw me but didn't say a thing or helped me. is this okay? peculiar people and it's time to say goodbye to them, it seems, for a while or forever. thank you for your good wishes. i went out from my apartment around 4 p.m . and i came in around 8 p.m. what a crazy day/evening. i am tired.

I’m used to this oppressive heat, but I can only imagine how much more startling it is to experience it when you’re not used to it. I hope you will find the day not as laborious as you think it will be. But when it’s over, you can officially cross it off your list and be done with that annoyance.

i was never a summer kid but i was okay with 32-33 C but above that, i am losing my mind. yesterday, when we had 36C, like today, i kept on forgetting things; putting my mug in a bathroom instead of a kitchen sink and similar things. you were right and thank you for your support. i survived today's day. cons of today's day werre bus changing the route and me walking 2 bus stops under the sun, a feeling that scanning of the crown took longer and it was done by my dentist's assistant the most, not the dentist and her asking me to hold that little mirrow object while the dentist saw me and didn't offer to give a hand. i mean, i haven't experienced this anywhere, i must say; am i crazy of thinking they took advantage of me a bit? pros: i survived the day/evening, the bus had an ac as well as the dentist office and after the new crown comes, i am saying goodbye to these strange folks. thank you for your good wishes.

@valherma00 Glad you made it through! It sounds like quite an adventure, but at least it's over now.

except for bus changing the route and me walking 2 bus stops under the sun and a strange request from the dentist's assistant to hold her that mirror object, while the dentist chatted with other customer and a long tooth crown scanning, almost never-ending, i survived, thank you.

yesterday i had a headache and today, my tummy was messing with me so, my body didn't want to go today but i went and survived and thank you for your support. except for bus changing the route and me walking 2 bus stops under the sun and strange request from the dentist's assistant to give her a hand with that little mirror object, while the dentist chatted with other customer and when he came, he didn't give me a hand and a long tooth crown scanning, almost never-ending, it was good. i mean, was i fool of not speaking up and saying to this dentist assistant, why the dentist can't help out with holding a mirror object? it's kind of a weird request to ask this a client or i might be wrong? after my crown comes, i am saying goodbye to them. forever or for a while.

I know what you are going through since I am concerned about the humidity outside.
