Have you ever had a wardrobe malfunction?

A former coworker bent down to pick something up at work, and suddenly we all heard a loud rrrip! His pants had split right down the back. He was so embarrassed but after making sure he was okay, we couldn't stop laughing. Thankfully, he had a jacket to tie around his waist until he could get home. Have you ever had a wardrobe malfunction, or witnessed one, that you can laugh about now?

That usually happens to me at home but not at work. Most of my shorts or shirts end up ripped, especially when they’re old and tear easily. I haven’t experienced that at work or outside yet, and I hope I never do.

@sol_cee Since I’m at home, I can easily replace it with a new one. It’s not too embarrassing—just some teasing from my wife, that’s all. I was in the middle of putting it on when it tore before I could fully wear it.

@rsa101 Much better for it to tear at home than somewhere else. At least you could just grab another one. Your wife’s teasing though . Any comeback for her?

Haha, now I'm curious. What are you doing when they end up ripped?

YES, I was still a student, high school. I remember I was wearing an elegant dress (we all were elegant at that time). The math professor called me at the blackboard to write something, I dropped the chalk, bent to pick it up and the long zip on the back of my dress opened.

Oh no! What happened next? Did someone help you, or were you able to fix it yourself?

@sol_cee - One of my school friends went to get a school uniform that I could wear to go home.

@LadyDuck Whew! You had a good friend looking out for you. Whatever happened to that elegant dress afterward?

Haha, that's probably for the best. The memorable ones tend to be the most embarrassing

I was out walking by the river when I was hit by someone on a rental bicycle and knocked down. Some kind people saw it happen and rushed over to help me up, but once I got to my feet and got situated (with MANY apologies from the cyclist), I realized that my jeans had ripped along the seam of the inner thigh. I don't think anyone noticed, but I had to scuttle home right away!

Oh my! I think I'd be more annoyed at the cyclist than the ripped jeans

@sol_cee well, I guess he just wasn't very good at riding a bike. He was really mortified - I couldn't be mad.

Yes and no. I had a wardrobe malfunction, but nobody saw it and it was my own fault. I bought some bikini underwear once wanting to try something different, but when I put on the first pair, it was hard to tell what was the leg and what was the waist for whatever reason. I put them on, wore them all day, and certain male parts kept falling out. It was very uncomfortable. I later discovered that I had my leg through the waist and a leg around MY waist. What a mess.

That must have been uncomfortable! At least you figured out what went wrong in the end

i witnessed one drunk lady, having her top going down but i stepped away. even if i said something, i think she wouldn't believe me or trust me. in my case, i remember i had an issue with one zara summer dress. it kept going up and i had to adjust it 100 times
