It was so bad, I had to leave

...so, today was definitely one of those days..Started off slow, handled some online gigs , did some chores and then hit the grind at the shop by 12pm, praying for the best. The sun was absolutely blazing, so I was really working that wide-brimmed hat look. ..then, out of nowhere, the skies opened up and it poured buckets around 4pm.. The real kicker? Not a single customer showed up all afternoon and evening. I didn't see that coming.. It was a total ghost town! So, I finally called it and packed it in... ?How do you usually handle those slow days when business just isn't hitting?"

That's disappointing, especially after spending the whole day at the shop

If I am someplace I am required to be, like a job, I always hope I have something to occupy me if things get too quiet. Do you think the rain kept your customers away?

Rain is part of it. A lot of competitors too..that's the real issue

I’m sorry nothing came about today. I try to think at least nothing bad happened. Nothing great did either, but that’s okay when one considers the alternative.

My business is my writing online so I never know when I post how many people are actually online at the moment.

I probably would have done the same thing as you and packed it in when no one showed up.

That would make the time move very slowly

That really sucks. I'm sorry you didn't have luck. It seems sometimes life happens that way. I know it can be bad for business, but right now I'd take a little rain lol.

I wouldn't know. I do online gig work, mostly taking surveys to make money.

I'm sorry that happened. Can you take your laptop or phone to work with you and keep doing gigs online while you wait for customers to show up? Even the small amount myLot pays you would be better than making nothing all day long.

@Wrexxo You're welcome. What country do you live in again? I'm sure I asked you that before but can't remember now.

Thanks a lot. That's what I do. When I get to my workplace, I work on my phone pending the time customers come. I still need more online gigs though.. getting payment on mylot may be impossible because PayPal makes it hard for us to receive funds... still looking for a way around it

While I was working, I used to worry when business was slow. Good days should be ahead for sure.
