Hello everyone! I have told myself to only write a new post when my last post has reached 20 comments. Until it reach that amount, I continue reading, liking and commenting. I have visited Titanic museum in Cobh, Republic of Ireland last May. Queenstown, (now named Cobh)was the last port of travel of RMS Titanic going to New York before its tragic disaster on April 15, 1912. It sank after striking a huge iceberg. My museum ticket has a name of a real passenger. What a pity I have thrown the ticket away before I wrote this post. Inside of the museum were ship models, photos and videos inside the Titanic. There were also statues as passengers sitting or standing inside the museum. How the cabin looked like for the poor and rich people, the cutlery used, etc. There were bunk beds, washbasins and small mirrors. Some passengers brought their own blankets and pillows. Visiting the Titanic museum gave me goosebumps. It was dark inside and tvs were on showcasing the story of the Titanic. Have you been to a museum before? Which one? Thanks for reading.

I once got locked in a museum I was in the toilet when they locked up and went away. Nobody knew I was there. Lucky they had a cafe which had food which I ate quite a lot of I then found a fire escape and got out and nobody even knew I had been there

OMG @Ineeddentures That is what scares me of being locked in a museum or department store. You’re funny. Was not the alarm on when you went out? Thanks.

I would never write new discussions if I waited for them to reach 20 responses before writing a new one. Pretty and I used to go to museums all the time when she was younger. Our favorite was the Living Musuem in Kimberling City, Missouri, USA. It was a showcase of living animals. Their largest exhibit was the huge tank of skates and stingrays that you can feed by hand. The name of the museum has changed since we were there last.

@thelme55 Since that's the way I myLot, I can guarantee you will earn more doing it this way than waiting until you get 20 responses on a discussion before writing a new discussion. You're always very welcome. We visited that museum two or three times each summer while she was a teenager. We enjoyed it that much and it gave us something fun to do that wasn't too expensive when we had time on our hands.

I just thought that I would earn more if I just comment and like before writing a new post. I have many things to tell but this is what I set up for myself. Thanks @DaddyEvil. That must have been a wonderful museum visit with Pretty.

As sad as the sinking of the Titanic was I would find that museum very interesting. I've been to many museums in New York City and it's always enjoyable

If I waited until all my discussions got twenty comments I might be waiting quite awhile before posting. I’ve been to many a museum, but never one about the Titanic. My sister has been to a couple of Titanic museums in various parts of the United States.

That’s right @AmbiePam but it does not matter. I am still interacting on Mylot. I didn’t know that there are many Titanic Museums around the world. That would be interesting to visit.

I would probably get a very eerie feeling visiting a museum like the Titanic Museum. Just so sad that so many souls were lost.

Of course I have seen the movie, and read some history in books about the Titanic. Some years ago, there was a traveling showcase of some things recovered from the wreck, and I went to one of those. One thing in the display was a few odd old shoes...evidently most things degrade over time, but shoes littered the ocean floor from the Titanic. It made me think a lot, especially seeing a very small child's shoe. I do have to say the display hit home. Over the years I have been to a lot of museums, I love them.
