I actually got the car back yesterday but other than driving to the post office, essentially next to the garage and back home I wasn't really doing anything with it. Well, today I took it to Costco which is 45 minutes from here like everything else of note. I noticed my AC was working again...
. I knew he did something with the vacuum tubes but whatever he did seemed to fix the AC which was really an unexpected perk. I feel like I got a twofer...(two for one) I could call and say Thanks, but maybe he would want to charge for his work on the AC well probably not, but I am still not wild about them, but amazed actually. Did you ever get an unexpected benefit by getting one thing fixed, another got fixed as well?

It really is! Since my AC in the car hasn't been working I could only drive the car if it was a cooler day or I went in the evening or something. This will give me more flexibility.

@snowy22315 We had a black car that the compressor went on the a/c, so major repair work. We didn't want to keep the car long enough to justify the repair cost, so we did without. I remember only driving it in the early mornings, and always keeping it in the garage, out of the sun.
I convinced my hubs to trade it in that following winter, and of course they didn't check the a/c during the winter time.

Thanks, sometimes...things work out very nicely for me..other times it takes awhile but I usually get what I want.

It's getting really hot here again now. We had a few days of somewhat cooler temps, but I think they are gone for now. I am anxiously awaiting FALL!!
