Today's Trip to Ullapool

Today's trip to Ullapool was a really good one.
Another gorgeous day, warm and sunny
Traffic not too bad
70 miles each way surrounded by scenery at it's Scottish finest
No wonder the tourists love Scotland.
So we got there and Yvonne was true to form
Charity shop first
Tesco second
Yvonne bought a lovely sweater in the thrift shop
And we used the facilities in Tesco and bought a dozen rolls and a dozen eggs
Quick look around Ullapool, much the same as the last visit
So we headed for Lochinvar and Achmelvich Beach
But we didn't get there lol
3 miles north of Ullapool we came upon Ardmair.
Stunning, had never seen it before
So we stopped there to have something to eat and drink and got talking to a nice lady and spent an hour and a half there.
So we didn't continue to our intended destination
The Journey back was really good.
No traffic jams or slow moving stuff
A nice day out

Yes we do.
We live near the Angus Glens and not to far from Montrose and Arbroath beaches and harbours.

Oh yes
Talking to the lady was so much better than driving any further
She was showing us her camper van and telling us all about it
We had something to eat whilst we were talking to her
We watched people swimming as we looked out towards the Western Isles.
