So, years ago I used Pantene shampoo because it was all the rage. I think it was recommended in Cosmo or something. I found it really dried my hair out, and I resolved never to use it again. Well lately, I hear good things again..and I need breakage repair.I haven't found anything I have been really happy with including deep conditioners..so I thought I would try it again..I washed my hair with it today..Let's just say the jury is out. Did you ever change your mind about a product?

I often change my mind about products, shampoo and otherwise.I think anything that smooths your hair helps prevent breakage.

I switch products all the time and sometimes go back to one.

I have never found a shampoo that helped with hair breakage or anything else beyond getting my hair washed and sometimes, for an hour or so, feeling fuller.

How many have you tried? It seems to be much easier to add volume for sure, but I don't have an issue with that

Yes. Back in the day when I had long hair I bought expensive Aveeda products. They didn’t make any difference in my hair. Now I buy the cheapest stuff out there

It happens that I change my mind about a product. Sometimes they change some ingredients and they may get better or worse.

Yes, it makes sense they would change and evolve over the years too often though it gets worse.. Maybe this will be thsn exception.

@LadyDuck Of course they wouldn't sell any products if they told the truth.."New and worse."

@snowy22315 - I agree, most of the time when I see "New, improved", I know it's not true.

We use Pantene but I think it is also the cheapest. I don't have any problems with it.

It isn't the cheapest, not here anyway, but it isn't expensive. My hair feels soft, so that is a good sign.

I have changed my mind about drinking soft drinks since it does not clean out my insides as well as well as making me feel better when I started drinking water.
