There are lots of creatures that have lived on Earth a lot longer than we have the humans. Did they destroy the Earth like we have been doing. No they have not. Modern humans which is us have been on Earth for 300,000 years. That is nothing compared to the other creatures. We used to just pack up and leave a area if we destroyed that area bad enough. Now we have destroyed the whole Earth. Where are we going? We can not even get to another planet light years away. Really if you think about it. What are we going to do. Sharks ,crocodiles and sea turtles have been on Earth for millions of years.. Did they destroy the Earth. No they did not. Just us the modern human. Now how sad is that?

Sadly humans are the worst specie on earth. All the other animals do nothing to destroy our earth, but humans do.

You are right about that, it's sad and those of us who really care are too few to stop those that are greedy and don't care.

Just how intelligent are we when we are always at war with someone.

@jstory07 Doesn't have a bearing on intelligence. Some wars are necessary.

My question is why would you want to go any where else, some pretty cool things here you will never find in the whole universe. Nice things that will make you smile, not many things can make you smile in this life, you should take a minute to realize that.

We need to learn to love the Earth and take care of her.

Well, “they” say something destroyed the earth during the Ice Age. And, as we weren’t around at the time, we can’t be blamed for that. We are sleazy, though. The first commandment in the Bible was for Adam to “dress and keep” the Garden of Eden. People tend to forget that.

Yes, we willfully destroy our planet due to our greed. Earth provides everything for free but we want more still. I recall Gandhi's words: "there is enough for everybody's need and not for anybody's greed". Another : "We know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing" Oscar Wilde.

@jstory07 When we are a family, we need to share equitably. Are we not a bigger family? After all, we leave everything behind and the memories fade too within a generation.

It's actually really sad We humans destroy a lot of stuff we should just leave alone And destroying the whole planet will happen if we don't get global warming and emissions under control
