Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 84 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. We have a tornado watch which is very unusual for this area. I'm not worried about it. Just bring on the thunderstorm!
I wound up going back to bed after waking up early and slept until like 2pm. I don't know why I have been sleeping so much lately. I didn't take anything last night. It is cloudy and like I said we are expecting a thunderstorm so I'm not even going to try to get over to the pool. Maybe tomorrow.
So now here I am just waiting for the storm with the Roomba and dishwasher going. I should be cooking but I've lost my cooking mojo lately. I've got to get back into the groove.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

How is the smoke there, was watching Phillies vs Mets and damn that looked crazy and sad? They moved they game up an hour so they could get it in. I said Welcome to California, its actually been pretty nice here. I keep telling people move the beavers in, they know how to prevent a forest fire.

Currently working on sharing a news story and completing surveys while the sun is shining outside with the temperature at 93 degrees outside.

I’m getting all my stuff ready for the EVIL DAY (a/k/a colonoscopy prep day) on Wednesday. I’d rather move what you need moving than what I have to move.

@NJChicaa — I never have a problem with it. It knocks me all the way out, and then when I wake up in the recovery room I usually pick up the conversation I was having when I passed out.
My brother had one where they did NOT knock him out. The funny thing was, after his colonoscopy he was normal, fine, able to walk in his house without any problem, and we had a perfectly normal conversation on the way home from the hospital. Then, about six hours later, he called me and said, “Where are my keys?”

@FourWalls Yeah I'll never deal with propofol alone again.

when I was in the hospital in March I was afraid that they were going to make me go through that. Luckily it was just an endoscopy and it was pretty easy. Granted I hallucinated after the propofol but the procedure itself was quick and didn't cause any issues.

Have you checked to see how long your sleeping med stays in your system? Sometimes it can hang around for one or two more days after you've taken it and still "help" you sleep even if you don't intend for it to keep going.
We had a thunderstorm this morning and it's still cloudy now but it's also 90F outside. Thankfully, most of the pollen is gone for now. I stepped out and brought in the mail.
Pretty is washing dishes that I didn't do this morning. We don't have any other plans for today. I'll probably just read. I downloaded 10 more ebooks onto the Kindle Cloud last night.

I hope you get some of your mojo back. Just hanging with my PC, Hank, and doing some writing.

We got the heavy rain on Saturday we are about 125 miles north of you in CT. On the cruise we never saw the smoke from the fires.

It sounds like a perfect day to stay indoors and take it easy. A tornado watch does seem unusual for the Jersey Shore, but hopefully it just ends up being a good thunderstorm with plenty of rain and no severe weather.
