My Glasses Finally Bit the Dust

I have had these Dollar Tree reading glasses for about 2- 3 years. They were sturdy and really comfortable to wear. In the last week they broke three times three different places. My grandson worked quite awhile fixing them. The third time we both agreed ENOUGH!
So now I'm wearing a pair of more wiry ones. My daughter will make her usual Dollar Tree run in a couple months and try to find me some more of the sturdy ones. We are finding that they go fast and are rather hard to come by now days.

I hope you can replace it soon with a better one. It is so hard to read without the exact reading glass you need.

When I was working all the time, I needed a pair of reading glasses. My contacts were great to see things far away but I couldn't read anything while wearing them so bought several pair of reading glasses at Walmart. Since I don't work anymore, I quit wearing the contacts and just wear my long distance glasses if I'm driving the car.
I hope you get another comfortable pair.

@celticeagle You're very welcome. I think I paid $3 for the ones I bought there.

I always hate it when something I like breaks, especially when it's something I need. I had a pair of sunglasses for years, and they snapped in half. I only paid a dollar for them on clearance (they were Foster Grants), but they were really decent sunglasses. I haven't been able to find another pair like them. Sometimes, if they're older, stores will stop selling the particular product you're looking for, and you have to find something as close as you can to it. Hopefully, you find some that work for you and that you like.

Hope you an manage until your daughter gets to the Dollar Tree.
I'd be lost without my reading glasses. I get mine from Amazon and they aren't very expensive.
