The heat makes my head ache

At least I think that is the problem. It is kind of like a sinus headache, but not severe, just annoying.
I do not want to always be popping pills for all my aches and pains. I had forgotten that I have a couple of varieties of tea made with turmeric and ginger. I made an iced mug of that and am sipping it. It will keep me hydrated and hopefully make me feel better all over.
My doctor encourages this kind of tea, says it does have helpful properties.

I know what is causing my headaches when I first wake up from naps. Luckily, they go away quickly since the doctor told me to stop taking aspirin or Tylenol for them.
I just wish the wobbly legs and arms would stop happening now. I helped Pretty carry in our groceries this morning and was huffing and puffing by the time we got everything inside. At least I could walk without a problem today.

@LooeyVille I have had trouble with high heat since I got lost in the desert in Arizona when I was in my mid-twenties.
The wobbly legs is caused by hydrocephalus and I can't wait to see the neurologist. Hopefully she can do something to help me with that. I hate waking Pretty up when I can't walk to the bathroom or back to my bed by myself.

Yeah. I usually do caffeine first thing in the morning. I only do aspirin, tylenol, or something in the evenings.

@GardenGerty I'm glad caffeine works for you. It doesn't do anything for me.

When the weather breaks it will be better. It does not happen every day.

I just keep chugging cool stuff today and I imagine when I go water some stuff outside it will help even more.

It certainly does. Does George stay hydrated? I have a hard time with Bob sometimes.

@GardenGerty It's a fight. He drinks a lot of Pepsi, but I sneak in meal replacment shakes, and a lot of ice, so he's getting water with his sugar. I also try to get him to drink milk during meals. Which isn't a problem because he usually asks for it. But, yes. When George had the feeding tube, it was a lot harder, because I had to make sure he got enough. At one point, I just started giving more then recommended, and a doctor told me I'd done the right thing.

The heat in my apartment does not make my head ache; what makes it ache is if I were to go out with the blazing hot sun heating up my heat. When I ahve gone out, it was always with a hat on my head.

That makes sense. It would also hurt your eyes being in the sun so much.

You are right. Mint is cooling. Some people will rub mint on their temples and the base of their skull to help with headaches.

Either it helped or just the cold drink helped.

I feel your pain.
I get more migraines during the hot months than the rest of the year.
For me, I also find that my headaches are related to the seasonal harvesting, right now the wheat harvest is bothering my sinus and giving me grief. I find that staying in, keeping the windows closed with the a/c on helps some.
I hope that the tea that you mentioned keeps you hydrated and feeling better.

Something helped. I have got the ice maker cranked up to keep me in cool drinks.
