Best friend's diamond painting

I finally finished and framed my best friend's diamond painting. It took so long because I couldn't take it with me to Chris's house and I was sick there until after Christmas. It was 49 colors and it's squares.
Diamond painting is not actually painting. You place tiny rhinestones on a canvas. It's similar to cross stitch, but with rhinestones. There are two types of rhinestones: round and square.
I am now working on a diamond painting for my boyfriend. It's smaller and round rhinestones.

That's really gorgeous and I can imagine that it took a long time to insert all those tiny rhinestones,
I never really knew what diamond painting was until my daughter started doing it. I can certainly appreciate how hard you worked on that painting for your friend,

Congratulations on finally finishing it! A 49-color square diamond painting is a huge project, and I can imagine how much time and patience it must have taken, especially with everything you went through being sick for so long. Framing it must have felt incredibly satisfying after all that work.
