Good evening myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 73 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The low for tonight is 56. Wooooo it definitely won't be a naked sleep night! I'll have to close the windows in the bedroom. I got to the pool around noon and stayed until it closed at 7pm. That's the longest shift I've done so far this summer. It was just such a beautiful day and some of my pool buddies were there. I didn't even wind up floating on my pool mat because I was busy talking to everyone. I did have my music playing and like didn't even care if it annoyed anyone else. One of my friends would crank up the volume for songs she liked. I was like "go for it". I need to get going on cooking some stuff. The fridge is full and I don't want to have to throw things out. I need to stay up anyway to try to get back on a normal sleep schedule. The goal for tonight is plum jam and spinach quiche. We shall see. What's everyone else doing tonight?

Good evening. It is 79F in my corner of the US this evening. Our low tonight is supposed to reach 69F by morning. I'm currently packing a case for me to take with us for Pretty's colonoscopy in the morningl. I've packed my battery charger, a cord for my phone, a couple of drinks and a bag of sunflower seeds to munch while she's having fun. I downloaded 10 new ebooks to my phone a couple of days ago, just in case. I just ate two sausage and biscuit sliders for late lunch and think I'll eat some taquitos in the morning before we leave. (Her appointment is at 7 am at the local hospital.) I hope you sleep well tonight.

Unlike last night, I am enjoying food. REAL food, not that clear liquid diet crap. I’m also watching a live webcam from Key Largo showing a great sunset. I had to wash the blanket that @MarieCoyle made for me last time I went to see her as well as the clothes I wore to the hospital (my brother smokes). I’m hoping to go to bed a little early to get caught up on the sleep I lost last night having to get up at 5 AM to drink more MiraLax-orade.

Reading the post on this site after Tropical Storm Bertha landed at the border of Louisiana and Texas. The weather will return to being hot starting on Sunday of next week.
