I haven’t been on for a day or two and I won’t be able to go back over all the discussions but I’ll do my best to catch up with all the news.
Our son is over from Ireland and we spent the night at Vince’s older brother’s place which was a very pleasant time. He was also able to visit a ‘school’ which deals with disengaged kids much like his school does.
He went for a haircut today and came home with a new Qwirkle game which has a slight twist on the old one. With the new game, the background colour adds points if they are in a line or whatever. You can see the new game in the photo. This is only half the game. The rest of the tiles have a diagonal line through them with one half white and one half black.
As you can see, Vince quite likes mandarins.

I'm sure you're enjoying having your son visit. That game looks like fun

I had been wondering about you.
I remember playing a game with the same name when I was in my teens and twenties but the game I played only used dice with pencil and paper to keep score. We always enjoyed it.
I'm sure you're enjoying having your son around for a while.
