New Addition to the Family!

Another milestone--a new baby! Some of you knew my oldest daughter was expecting a new baby. She had a high risk pregnancy and ended up with gestational diabetes before she delivered early in July.
Meet Nolan Scott. He was named after his great grandfather on her side of the family and got his middle name from his father. I think they go well together.
She had a smooth delivery with a planned c-section. She has had a c-section with her other two because of lack of dialation, even after being induced so it was more or less a given.
Nolan weighed in at almost 9 lbs, 19 1/2 inches long and very strong. They bring the mom and baby out right past the delivery waiting room and he was lifting his head up to find us saying, "I'm here!!"
He is a good baby and so far only problem has been with silent acid reflux, which my daughter did not want to believe, but found out mama was right after his second doctor appointment.

Babies always look so cute right up until they can walk and talk. 
Then parents want to give them away.

Baby Nolan says thank you!!
I've been having to take it easy and learn to slow down. New baby had me staying with them for awhile after the baby was born and then I went back again for another few days. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday, so we will see where we go from here.
