The bread and butter pickles are delish!

I made a double batch of them a couple of days ago. I had made them once before a few years ago and remembered them being tasty. I'm normally a garlic/dill pickle girl but every now and then I like to change it up.
The recipe is super simple. Deb says that they taste pickled after half an hour but I gave them a few days just to really get the job done. I made 2 quart jars of them and I've already housed half a jar today. 
Hey that's a healthy low-calorie treat!
I'm going to have to make some more because these 2 jars will be done by the end of the week. Yum!

Bread and butter pickles are my very favorite pickle. If I were there right now I would be helping myself to those delicious pickles!

@NJChicaa I have made them many times. I am waiting on my cucumbers to produce more cukes—so far I’ve had a few but honestly, I ate them. Plants have lots of blossoms and tiny cucumbers!

I really hope you took her advice and reduced the sugar. Otherwise, you're looking at diabetes before you finish the second jar!

Those sound delicious! Sometimes the simplest recipes turn out to be the best ones. I'm with you on usually preferring garlic dill pickles, but it's fun to switch things up once in a while.
