Recently, I have been experiencing muscle cramps.
It can be one leg, sole of the feet or sometimes one or two digits of the foot. I'm not sure if it's just dehydration, lack of exercise or something else.
It's not easy to have cramps because it's sudden and painful. Sometimes I experience it during sleep and sometimes while doing some chores.
Any advice?

Fresh coconut water has electrolytes. Better than water. Pocari is good too if you don't have fresh coconut water with you. Stay dehydrated.

Of course I can offer good advice when things like that happen. You need to stay hydrated and, if that still happens, you can drink a couple of mouthfuls of pickle juice. Keep the juice when you finish eating a jar of pickles in the fridge. Swallow a couple of mouthfuls when you feel any type of cramp. As soon as you swallow it, the cramp will release and the pain is gone.
If you don't eat pickles, I can tell you the recipe to make the juice (minus the pickles) to store in the fridge until it's needed: 1/2 cup of white or apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of plain tap water, 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Mix the ingredients in a glass jar that has a lid until the salt and sugar are completely dissolved. Drink 1/3 cup and place a lid on the jar and refrigerate the leftover for the next time you need it.
As soon as the acetic acid in the vinegar hits the vagus nerve at the back of your throat it tells the muscles in your body to relax, the cramp goes away.

I will eat pickles on a burger but I don't really like them. I do add relish, which is basically diced pickles, in egg salad, chicken salad and potato salad.
I hope this helps you. Good luck!

I had cramp in my left foot once when I had started doing yoga. It happened because I was forcing myself to do a posture. It took me about half an hour to get relieved.

Cramps can be caused by several things, such as dehydration, poor blood circulation in the affected area, or even being linked to the menstrual cycle. You can try rehydrating yourself or simply massaging the area to release tension and relax the muscle. As long as they don’t happen too often, there’s usually nothing to worry about—just do what’s necessary, like massaging the area and staying hydrated. However, if the symptoms persist or you notice redness that doesn’t go away, it’s best to have it checked by a doctor.

Muscle cramps can be really unpleasant, especially when they suddenly wake you from a sound sleep. I've had occasional leg or foot cramps, and that sudden pain can certainly make you jump! Since yours have been happening regularly and in different areas, I think it would be worth mentioning them to your doctor rather than trying to guess the cause yourself. In the meantime, keeping track of when they happen might help you notice a pattern. I hope you find out what's causing them and get some relief soon.

The first thing I'd look at is hydration. Even mild dehydration can contribute to cramping, especially if you've been sweating a lot. Try drinking more water throughout the day, and if you've been very active or it's hot outside, consider replacing electrolytes as well.

I just watched a Youtube video this afternoon about this. Maybe you need some beets and olive oil, salmon and spinach
The video reported that people who at more of these foods had less cramps in the legs. I for one will try it.

Stay hydrated Raquel.
It will be less likely to happen.
It must be awful if it happens when you are asleep
Ouch
