Doggie Donut

Sadie (my dog) is in love with her doggie donuts (pictured). I got them free to review at first, but she loved them so much I knew I’d have to start buying them. They’re $5 a piece so I save up my Amazon gift cards to buy them for her. And I think she deserves them. With all the joy our pets bring, how do you end up “treating” them?

I can’t afford to get her teeth cleaned so the donuts clean them for me.

I’m extremely allergic to cats, but when the neighborhood cats waltz into my back yard I’ll give them some food. I even have a pair of gloves that I can don to give them a head rub!

Duke loves treats! He gets Milkbones, but loves those huge bones that he can chew on for days or the ones that are filled up with peanut butter on the inside. I also have some small biscuits that I give him sometimes heading to the chicken pen. They are tiny and he always nudges my hand to see how many I have; LOL! Of course he gets 2 to 4 each time.

Aww, how wonderful! I agree Sadie deserves having those doughnuts. I did find this online and I know this is different but perhaps she might like it as well, Pawmate Duck Rawhide Dog Treats, which are donut-shaped, are priced around $15 for a pack of four.

Sadie is so lucky that you buy her donuts. Mush is definitely spoiled

I certainly believe that they are one of the family, and as such should be treated that way.

Gee, that is really expensive, more than a people doughnut. I think I would keep them for her birthday or Christmas if it was me. I wonder if you could get more to review for free? Maybe you could make some..

Hey Amber, is it a chew toy / like a round bone-type treat or a real doggy donut that Sadie can eat?

It’s a round rawhide piece wrapped in chicken jerky. It takes her about three days to chew off all the jerky, and then two weeks later her round piece of rawhide is chewed enough to warrant throwing the rest of it out. It cleans her teeth really well, and she goes nuts when she sees them.

I’m so glad Oliver is liking things other than the dry kibble.
