A Florida Highway Patrol Officer was driving on a highway in Haines City Florida on Saturday when he saw a stray German Shepherd walking by itself when the police officer pulled over his auto to rescue the dog when he noticed that the dog was wearing a Emotional Support Animal on its collar.
The police officer attempted to contact the owner of the dog but the police officer was not successful.
The police officer then took the stray dog to the Polk County Animal Shelter where the dog is being taken care of until the owner of the dog can be contacted.
Hopefully the owner of the dog will be found and reunite with his or her best friend soon.

Glad the dog was rescued but before giving him to his owner I would be asking the owner the question of how the dot got where he got.

You are right that the owner of the dog needs to be questioned how did the dog get lost in the first place.

I know what you mean since German Shepherds are wonderful pets.

I hope owner and dog will be united and that nothing happened to the owner and the dog wandered away.
