Two Appointments in One Day

I know, what’s the big deal? Tomorrow I have an appointment with my primary care doctor, and then in the afternoon I have a dentist appointment. I never schedule two appointments in one day if I can help it because my back can’t take it. Circumstances out of my control has me changing my dentist appointment from Friday to tomorrow, at their request. I wish the dental appointment wasn’t later in the day though because you know how they get behind.
Like I said, it shouldn’t be a big deal. Some of you have juggled three doctor appointments in one day, which is impressive. I’m just hoping my back doesn’t give out. Some days I look back at the man who ran me off the road and caused my accident, and I feel such annoyance. At least it’s not anger. I don’t want to be angry. I just remember when I had no back problems, and life was better.
But enough of that! How are you guys doing today?

Not doing too bad. Had a lot of phone calling/paper filling out this morning but it's over for the time being. It's nearly lunch time, and I'm going to make that in a bit.

I ended up with two on Friday and I canceled one because my thryrod doctor is doing it and my primary put in for me to go to the hospital and do it. She also scheduled another test for me at 8:15 am, which is in another town. I'm not a morning person and I'm not going to an apt. at 8:15 where I have to leave my house at 7 am. That one was rescheduled for next week in the afternoon.
I hope your appointments go well.

Yikes, I get nervous the night before even one appointment. Including my doc who I’ve known, loved, and trusted for over 10 years.
Props to you, girl. Get ‘em over with

I'm so sorry that accident happened to you. They always say things happen for a reason. But if it's causing you a lifetime of inconvenience and pain, sometimes it's hard to see the good reason behind it.
It's good that you aren't angry.

Just now
I sometimes think about time before I had the body of a 90 year old and get kind of bitter. So I try not to dwell on it.
I hate when they schedule more than one appointment in one day. I have one tomorrow, one thursday and one friday. I HATE that too.

Two appointments or procedures in one day is too much for my son. And so often it would be impossible--one might be too far from another, or the first one might end up being lengthy and keep us from getting him to the second one on time. If it accidently happens he gets scheduled for 2 in one day, I call and change something. Plus, often he doesn't have the stamina to go that hard in one day--be kind to yourself, Amber.
