Eye Doctor Visit

Well my husband's eye doctor visit today was very unique, as nothing was said about, "what do we do now to clear this up?" He has been on an antibiotic, antibiotic drops, antibiotic ointment, steroid drops, and allergy medication. Nothing has worked. Last week his primary doctor prescribed two new nasal sprays and a new allergy/sinus medication. He did not get an injection today. This is the second month that he did not get an injection. For those that don't know why he is getting injections, it is to improve scar tissue growth from a previous laser surgery that he had several years ago. The doctor did say that he would get another one next month. Hummm. He has been taking these injections for a year now and the scar tissue has decreased in size a good bit. However, this swelling and allergy symptoms have popped up and his eye is bloodshot and his eyesight is getting much worse. The doctor did agree to let him go ahead and get new eye glasses. I was going to tell him to go get them anyway whether he said okay or not. So he has an appointment for that early in September and returns to the specialist at the end of September. I told him on the way home that maybe it is time to get a second opinion on all of this. It doesn't seem like he is moving in the right direction.
