Do you think CPR should be taught in school?

At my school, every year with 3rd grade and up, a group of firefighters would come to our school and teach a class on how to perform CPR. It just took up one day a year, and they would certify you in CPR after you passed the class. I think it’s a great idea for every school (although very difficult for large schools).
Do you know CPR? Do schools teach that?

WE had that too in our school. We were taught to do that as well as how to put out the fire. Firefighters would usually demonstrate it.
And I think when I was in high school, CPR was taught in our PE class. AT the beginning of school year, Our physical education teaches the function of our hearts as well especially when we are doing physical activities and when at rest. I remember studying the parts of the heart back then.

When we were in elementary we were taught of first aid, but if I can remember not all can participate it is only for those kids who wants to learn about it. And I am not one of them, lol!

I do know CPR, but I don't remember them teaching it in school--particularly not in the 3rd grade! It would be a good thing for schools to teach.

I took a health class my senior year in high school and was taught how to do CPR, trained how to administer First Aid, and told to leave broken bones alone.
At one job, they asked for volunteers to take a CPR class in case something happened. They even gave me 20 cents an hour extra on my pay for knowing how to help people.

I think they might have showed it to us when I was a kid. I didn't learn it until I was in basic training.

We learned my freshman year in high school, and got certified. I have since yet my certification lapse. But I kept it going for a long time.
YES. I think everyone should know how to do CPR

I took CPR in high school and was certified for years. I let it lapse last year...I am often just too busy to get to all the places I need to go.
