I posted yesterday about having to make an appointment to get Moms filters changed in her hearing aids …… A couple of my lovely friends suggested taking a look on YouTube as there are zillions of videos on there on just about every subject known to man ….and I daresay a few that aren’t ! Anyway, this morning I was up with the lark and got myself onto YouTube ….. Yes, I found exactly what I needed…. Within 5 minutes of watching said video I had changed the filters in the hearing aids….. I got on the bus asap and headed round to Moms ….obviously they needed charging but apart from that….a job well done. We phoned the audiologist to say we didn’t need the appointment as we were all sorted ….. So thank you for the suggestion ….it saved us a lot of back and forth and time…..

That’s fantastic. I’m so glad you didn’t have to bother going in to the audiologist.

While it'strue you can find almost everything on youtube, if you've never done it before it's best to see the professional. Especially since he can check her hearing to see if her script needs adjusting. But, I can understand the whole back and forth thing. It's always a circus to get a blood draw for me because I'm not part of the va, so the all-in-one thing doesn't work. but still even then medical is a real pain in the butt.
