Got A Cantaloupe

That's all I bought today. Only paid fifty cents for it. I also brought a couple of watermelons home. The girl I got them from needs grapes when they are ready. I am always happy to do that.
At euchre the guys won 3 games and we won 2. And everyone had a fun time.
We have had another inch and half of rain so far today. I am ready for a dry day now.

I bought a cantaloupe a couple of weeks ago at the store, thinking Pretty and I would both enjoy it. Pretty didn't want any so I ate it all myself. We haven't found any watermelons we wanted to buy this summer yet.

@kareng Off the truck, they're $6 or $10, depending on if you want one that's still green or if you want one that's overripe.
They'll still be selling them here until the end of September.

A cantaloupe for that amount is definitely a steal. And bartering your grapes for the watermelons sounds like a great plan to me.
We've had lots of rain and it's been hot and steamy. It's supposed to rain every day here until the weekend, I think.

It does not rain here in the summer and the river is almost dry.
