Solar Eclipse, did y,all see it

Did you all see the solar eclipse We didn't It went all cloudy half an hour before it was due So we saw absolutely no eclipse at all How sad was that? So question Have y,all ever witnessed an eclipse before

NO, I could not find the eclipse glasses, so I preferred not to watch.

@Ineeddentures - The Italian newspapers warned everyone not to watch without the glasses because we could have damaged our retina.

Wise choice You could have really damaged your eyes with out using the eclipse glasses if you had watched it

@Ineeddentures the next solar eclipse visible in my country will ni 2042. It's total eclipse. 16 years from now. I might still be alive by then but who knows.

Unfortunately, it didn’t reach us here in Asia and only happened in Europe. I just saw the videos on Facebook and other social media apps, and I imagine it was an amazing experience for those who got to witness that rare moment of the sun being completely blocked in the middle of the day. Even if it only lasted a few minutes, it’s still a wonder to see.

I think I did see one eclipse a long time ago in Louisiana. I did taken precautions and not look at the sun directly during the eclipse.
