Brambles , or Blackberries as you might know them
Oh well moving on from the Raspberries
We also have a shed load of Brambles here
Especially in our old garden which sadly has become a bit over grown
But luckily
With Brambles
So we have picked a few this afternoon but there were not as many ready as I would have liked
So now we have to go to the top garden where it's totally overgrown
The help the wildlife initiative lol
So I have taken a few pictures
And we have already filled one tub of brambles and are now on the second
I am covered in scratches already
Yvonne on the other hand is not as she is wearing a.long sleeve top
We will make Bramble Jelly with the berries
It will be good

Well brambles sure aren't for everyone
But the Jelly we will produce is lovely
You might like it with some nice crusty bread and butter

@Ineeddentures I just don't like the flavor so I likely wouldn't like the jelly. Blackcurrants on the other hand. . . I love me some Ribena.

@NJChicaa
Yvonne buys a lot of Ribena
In bulk
It's strange
I like blackcurrant drinks but prefer just adding water to a drink to dilute

@LadyDuck
I don't mind the seeds in Raspberry Jam
Infact I prefer it to seedless

I love brambles, when I was about 8 I was in Germany because dad was stationed there and at the school during recess I could pick some because the plant was overlapping into the recess area, oddly enough I didn't get scratched up that much.
Have you thought of getting a pair of long sleeved leather gloves and simply cutting off the finger portions so you can pick the berries without getting too scratched up?

You're welcome @Ineeddentures
I got a pair from Temu last year and they come in handy with the kinds of flora we have here.
