We Got Rain!!!

Yes, we finally got some rain here! And the electricity got knocked out for a couple of hours. About 5:30 the rain started and ended up being a nice medium to heavy rain for about an hour. The garden sure did need it! Tomorrow morning you won't be able to tell it rained. That is how dry it is/was here. I am hoping this was enough to not have a burn ban put out in our parish. They have been issued in several parishes in Louisiana and several counties in Mississippi. Electricity came back on around 7:30, but I had laid down to rest since there wasn't much else to do in a dark house. I napped until almost 10 pm. And that reminds me that the dog needs to be fed!
