Power off and on, thunder, more rain, more flooding.

It’s not as bad as it was for those seven straight days and nights. We actually had one completely dry day. This week has been Monday showers, Tuesday more rain and a few thunderstorms, and now once again more of the same.
Our main problem is the ground is basically saturated with water. Several people have drowned here even this week/ for want of being more careful and for attempting to drive through standing water. I wish people would not take such chances with their lives but unfortunately they do.
If you need rain, come here and bring big buckets!! Maybe I should just beg for a boat at this point!!

@MarieCoyle True, the cool weather can be comforting at night, but being in the middle of floods would make it far from enjoyable. The sun peeked out a bit at lunchtime, but now it’s gloomy again, and it looks like it might rain soon.

It’s also not really advisable to go outside right now in the evening, as there are so,so many mosquitoes!

We've been getting plenty of rains, too. I love this kind of weather, but many get derailed due to flooding in the city and in the affected provinces. We're getting 3 days of sunshine then rains will come again. Take care.

YOu are drowning there in the Midwest, and the West is parched. We are some combination here. We have gotten quite a bit of rain, it has been raining like every other day..as a matter of fact it is supposed to rain later today and Friday, but they are still talking about the drought on the news. I don't get it. Too many quick bursts of rain, and nothing solid I guess.

It's been such a rainy summer and we're getting storms by afternoon and evening. Yesterday was sunny but that's unusual lately. We don't have as much rain and flooding as you do and I hope whatever you get today doesn't add much to whats already causing problems. It would really be nice if we could spin the weather wheel and send the rain where it's needed.
