No. In Indonesia we live in 26 Celcius. Only certain time we have lower temp. But if we live in mountain itis about 20 Celcius or less at night

@Ineeddentures our climate is moderate but the humidity is so high. That is why people in my country rarely walk outside for long time because it makes them sweaty

I do not like high humidity
Clothing sticking to the body and sweating a lot is not good
I am glad Scotland is not a humid country

You sure do live in a place with a nice climate
I would think in our mountains tonight that it would be maybe 4C

It's a bit chilly right enough
I don't really like my feet being enclosed either
And it is uncomfortable
BuT wearing socks and having warm feet is the best option for me
Why are your feet always cold?

@Ineeddentures Yes like I said I wear them sometimes if my feet are real cold. Usually I will tuck the covers around my feet.

I kick the covers off and it annoys my wife
Even when it's chilly
As long as my feets are warm if the rest of me gets cold it doesn't matter

When it’s very cold, yes; however, it’s usually never below 17C/64F in my house. When the power went out after a wind storm you bet I wore socks to bed…then I left town and stayed a hotel somewhere with electricity until our power came back on!

@Ineeddentures — that particular time, it was out for about 40 hours. I’ve been without power for a week, but the weather was very nice. This time it went out on a Friday evening. It was quite cold that time, so I drove up to Cincinnati for lunch on Saturday. The power company said it’d be restored by 5 PM Saturday, so I started home, then they changed their minds. I spent the night at a hotel and decided I’d do a little sightseeing the next day. My neighbor texted me and told me the power had been restored about noon on Sunday.

17C is quite warm to be fair
The coldest we get is around 14C in the house on the winter when no heating is on
Even when it's minus 15 outside our house is still warm
But I get cold feets
You went and got a hotel with electricity
How long was the power out for?

We don't wear shoes in the house either Judy
I find my socks get out of shape when wearing them in bed and they don't feel comfortable on feet

An extra blanket will do the job right enough
We have or had an electric blanket
It was/is good
I can't remember if we still have it or not

When it's chilly? Does it ever get chilly here? No. But because I have the ac on and it does get chilly early in the morning, I sometimes do.

@Ineeddentures I have a small duvet that is perfect for the half bottom size of the bed. I do not tick it under the mattress, it does not move.

Now adding a duvet at bottom of the bed is something I never ever thought of trying
It seems so obvious
Thanks Anna
I will bear it on mind
Do you tick it under the mattress to keep it in place

Sounds like a good idea.
Yeah, in the cold months I do. I wear them all the time. In the summer I never wear socks though lol. Always in sandals anyway
