So, everyone has one meal that they are well known for cooking. It may be just within the family , it might be when they have a dinner party. So, my question is …… What is your signature dish ? For me, it would be lasagne. A firm favourite in my family. Dessert would be my special bread and butter pudding …. I have posted about it before….. Using brioche rolls and adding whiskey to the custard…. Those two dishes are requested many times by my family…… What is your signature dish ?

Back in my apartment days before I got married, I ended up having my cousin from my hometown move in for a couple of months until he found an apartment of his own. He has always loved spaghetti and meatballs. He fell in love with my recipe and started telling everyone that I made the best in the world. I was surprised because I used a lot of seasonings, fresh onion, garlic, etc. and he was always a picky eater.

@Traceyjayne I love to cook when I have fee time. I don't like to be pressured to cook something unexpectedly.

My signature dish is my mom’s signature dish: Dorito Chicken. Everyone at church potlucks always requested she make it so she always would. They just loved it. It’s my dad’s favorite too.
